in the past weeks, i’ve been alternating subjects and meduims, and it finally looks like i might finish one of these portraits! a big thanks to my friends for letting me paint their kids—and for their patience!

another wardrobe addition…
Oh my goodness! I found a perfectly good blue knit sheet at the thrift store and snatched it up (since I’m always looking for “boy color” knit to use to make clothes for E)…Then I remembered this amazing tutorial by Jessica at Happy Together.
So I made a CUTE top for myself, which, I must say, I absolutely LOVE! I can say that now, having wrestled with the casing for an hour…I won in the end and it was worth the battle. I just hate safety pins even more than I did before. Which was a lot.
